Fees and what to expect
New patient consultation- $552
What to expect - you will see the doctor for 55 minute in a new patient appointment. Please fill out the health questionnaire to ensure we can complete the appointment in this time. A report of the visit will be sent to you and to your GP, plus any other health services involved, following the assessment. If there is further information required such as questionnaires or reports to review, then a follow up appointment will be made. Any results from investigations will be emailed to you and if you need to discuss these then a follow up appointment will need to be booked. Renewal of special authority numbers for medications or formulas need to be done in a follow up appointment.
Follow-up consultation – $276
Follow up appointments are 25 minutes long and the booking process is the same as for a new patient appointment. A report will be posted to you, your GP, plus any other health care services involved.
Autism Spectrum Disorder Assessments
This appointment booking includes a one hour initial appointment and the ADOS assessment and feedback in one session and the charge is $1838. Questionnaires for this will be emailed out in a seperate email.
Special Tests
Griffiths mental development scales and Autism Diagnostic Observation Scales both take approximately 90 minutes to perform and extra time to mark and report. These tests are charged separately and will be organised out side of clinic times.
Payment terms
Payment is required at time of booking and can be paid online using a credit card. All fees are charged in NZ dollars. All fees listed are inclusive of GST. The name that will appear on your statement will be PAEDIATRICS LTD.
